Join us for the half-day 2024 PMI Rochester Chapter - Ithaca Branch Professional Development Day! Our expert speakers will share their knowledge and experiences with a balance of PDU earning opportunities across the talent triangle. Michelle Courtney Berry is an author, keynote speaker, and consultant, with experience transforming workplace well-being and leadership. Based on Michelle's international best-selling book, "Keeping Calm in Chaos" helps you and your teams maintain peace and cultivate resilience in tumultuous times, which can be powerfully integrated into a framework for organizational development consulting. Leveraging the strategies of mindfulness, stress management, and the cultivation of inner serenity, let's guide your teams through the complexities of change and adversity by fostering a culture of calm and resilience, enabling leaders at all levels alike to thrive amidst chaos. Copies of Michelle's book will be available, and she will be doing a book signing.

Vanessa Bohns is Professor and Chair of Organizational Behavior at Cornell University’s ILR School. She is author of the book You Have More Influence Than You Think, and she is currently working on a second book to be published next year. She received her PhD in social psychology from Columbia University and her AB in psychology from Brown University. Professor Bohns is an expert on help-seeking, social influence, compliance, consent, why it’s so hard to ask for things, and why it’s so hard to say no. Her research has been published in top academic journals in psychology, management, and law, and has been covered by media outlets such as the New York TimesWall Street JournalAtlantic, Economist, and NPR. Her popular writing has appeared in The New York TimesThe Wall Street JournalHarvard Business ReviewFast CompanyBusiness Insider, and elsewhere. She currently serves on the editorial boards of several top academic journals in organizational behavior and psychology.



Brian Gregory is a dedicated and passionate Project Manager with an strong interest in the art and science of project management. For over 28 years, he has placed a keen focus on delivering quality results by leading diverse, cross-functional teams as well as leading and maturing PMOs. During his career, he has placed great importance on leading, coaching and mentoring others around him. When not managing projects, Brian spends time sharing his passion for project management through volunteering with PMI.
