TOPIC: TRADEOFF MATRIX

Join the Ithaca Branch - either in person in Ithaca or virtually - to learn about the Tradeoff Matrix:  identifying and balancing the triple constraints to help project leaders understand and shape the direction of their project.  You'll learn about the dimensions of and the tradeoffs between the Project Manager's triple constraints, how to help project leadership choose the driver among them by talking through different scenarios, and how to communicate the decision to the project team so that their guidance is clear.

PRESENTER: GREG BUSBY

Greg Busby helped found and then led the Business Analysis practice at Cornell University for over 10 years.  Greg has more than 30 years of IT and business experience.  He has performed business analysis of one type or another for nearly 20 of those years in roles as varied as Product Manager, Senior Consultant and Lead Business Analyst.  Greg has trained people in Business Analysis and Leadership skills for over 15 years.  Greg's passion is helping people find elegant, cost-effective solutions to common and nagging problems, allowing people and businesses to address those issues and funcion more effectively.

Greg is a CBAP® (Certified Business Analysis Professional), was a Practitioner Reviewer of BABOK v2.0 and a contributor to both Business Analysis for Dummies and the CBAP Certification Exam based on BABOK v3. He is founder and Principal of Busby BA LLC, a consulting practice specializing in higher education and administrative streamlining.
