This three-day course introduces managers to Agile approaches including Scrum, XP, DSDM, AgileUP, Kanban and hybrid approaches. Although the course focuses on Scrum, students learn the Agile values, principles, and techniques prevalent to Agile environments.
Students learn the paradigm shifts that occur when organizations move from traditional environments to Agile environments. Students learn the different the techniques which should be used in guiding Agile teams to successful implementations.
Throughout the course students will also work on Agile teams which simulate the Agile environment. The environment enables students to better understand the perspective of different Agile team members. It also gives the students an opportunity to explore self-organization concepts and how they contribute to inspecting and adapting to changes and past performance.
This course fulfills the educational requirement in preparation for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner PMI-ACP℠. All instructors are certified PMP and PMI-ACP. Come learn from those that have been there and learn with confidence.
After completing this course, the student should be able to:

- Apply empirical thinking to your project work
