The PMI Educational Foundation has announced the 4 recipients of the Dr. Harold Kerzner Scholarships for 2011 and we at PMI Rochester are proud to say that our Chapter’s member, Joanne Greene-Blose, has been awarded one of these prestigious scholarships!  Joanne, the owner of The Project Solvers of America, is currently studying for her Masters Degree in Project Management at Boston University.  From all of us at PMI Rochester, we congratulate Joanne and wish her continued success in her studies!

The Dr. Harold Kerzner Scholarships is an endowed scholarship fund created by International Institute for Learning, Inc. (IIL). Each year four academic scholarships are available to graduate and undergraduate students worldwide studying project management at degree-granting colleges and universities.  http://www.pmi.org/pmief/scholarship/scholarship-Kerzner.asp

The review committee requires that the scholarships are awarded to four people worldwide studying for a degree in project management and the selection of the recipients is based on applications submitted, essays, references, the degree programs and the schools that are attended.
