Meeting Objectives
The PMI Region-4 Leadership Meeting is an invaluable opportunity for knowledge exchange and development among PMI Component leaders and PMI.
Who should attend?
All active component leaders – both new and veteran - interested in expanding and enhancing their leadership skills and knowledge are invited to attend. The meeting will feature regional leadership education pertaining to the organization and administration for components within the region.

Benefit for All Leaders:
The meeting spotlights the topics of interest to the leadership in the region, including board governance and component/volunteer management.
- Enhance and expand personal leadership and organizational skills, including legal and ethical responsibilities.
- Collaborate and share innovations, insights and best practices with colleagues in productive sessions.
- Build relationships with colleagues from across the region through networking opportunities.
- Learn the skills necessary to build a team dedicated to managing a nonprofit PMI Component organization as a volunteer leader.
- Access training, tools and techniques focused on cultural competencies and membership topics.
- Renew your inspiration to successfully approach your component's challenges and opportunities.
- Learn the latest news on PMI global initiatives and activities.
- Interface with PMI's Global Operations Center staff to hear future direction and provide valuable feedback.
- Celebrate the diversity of PMI's Component leadership community.
- Earn Category Three Professional Development Units (PDUs) for formal learning activities related to project management.
PMI issues Professional Development Units (PDU) for formal learning activities related to project management. These credits may be used toward professional credential maintenance.
PMI Region-4 Leadership Meeting structure consists of sessions with a variety of topics. Session formats include panel and speaker presentations and round table discussions. Meeting content will reflect organizational and administration needs and may contain some regionally-specific information as appropriate
Thursday - June 10th - Optional Travel Day
Friday - June 11th - Activities:
- 12:00pm: Conference Check-in opens
- 1:30pm: 9 Hole Golf Tournament - Best Ball [fee not included with registration]
- Elan Spa (contact the spa directly if interested)
- Shopping is also conveniently located at nearby Eastview mall
- 5-7:00pm: Friday Night Cocktail Party by the Gazebo with musical entertainment

- RMSC/Planetarium
- Wegmans
- Erie Canal Tour
- Casa Larga Winery
- Note: tour activities are not included in registration. We'll provide maps/directions.
Attendees:
- 7:30am - 8:30am: Breakfast Buffet in Garden Area
- 8:30am - 5:00pm: Region 4 topics and GOC presentations
- 5:00pm - 5:15pm: Group Photo
- 6:30pm onward : Networking Dinner sponsored by PMI Region 4
- Keynote: Beth Partleton, PMI Vice Chair
- 6:30pm: Dinner in meeting rooms for Attendees and Guests (dinner begins at 6:30pm with a cocktail hour (cash bar + hors d'oeuvres) and dinner will be served at 7:30pm)
Sunday - June 13
- 7:30am - 8:30am Breakfast Buffet in Garden Area for conference attendees
(guest breakfasts can be purchased for $23)
- 8:30am-12:30pm Meetings

If you need to make a hotel reservation you can do so directly with Woodcliff Hotel & Spa.
If you are bringing children for the weekend, please add each child as another attendee when you register. There is a $25 registration fee for each child. When you register a child, please include their age and gender in the Comments area of the registration.
Registration Fees:
$150 Attendee Pricing includes - Friday cocktail reception, all meals for Saturday and Sunday, and the R4 conference.
$225 Attendee + Guest Pricing includes – All attendee meals and meeting listed for the $150 rate plus Friday night cocktail reception and dinner on Saturday night for the guest
$25 Children 12 and Under Pricing includes dinner on Saturday for the child (at the children’s rate)
$45 Children 13 and Over Pricing includes includes dinner on Saturday night (at the adult rate).

- Pre-Purchase Saturday morning brunch for guest: $23
- Pre-Purchase Sunday morning brunch for guest: $23 ($46 for both)
- Cocktail party: $30
- Saturday night dinner (for guests): $45
