Summary:

PMP®/CAPM® Certification Exam Prep Course

Based on the Fourth Edition PMBOK® Guide

Journey Consulting continues to partner with the PMI® Rochester Chapter to provide classroom PMP®/CAPM® Certification Exam Prep training with Lead Instructor, Steven Wilson and their Associate Trainers.  Journey Consulting will provide quality training to propel learners through a proven roadmap to prepare for the PMP®/CAPM® Certification Exam.

The Journey Consulting training methods have proven to be effective in assisting over 500 learners with their PMP®/CAPM® Exam preparation.  Their metrics and methods have proven that 98% of their learners who have taken the exam have received their PMP®/CAPM® certification.

Eligibility as established by PMI®:

PMP® Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must complete an application at: www.pmi.org and provide documentation of either:

 ·         High school diploma/global equivalent, 5 years project management experience and 35 hours of project management education.

-OR-

·         A Bachelor's degree/global equivalent, 3 years project management experience and 35 hours of project management education.

 CAPM® Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must complete an application at: www.pmi.org and provide documentation of either:

 High school diploma/global equivalent AND 1500 hours project management experience.

-OR-

  23 hours of project management education.

 Course Details:

As part of your registration fee each learner will be given the following course materials at Orientation:

·         Training Manual with 530 questions and exam simulation CD-ROM

·         Exam Simulation Book with 530 additional questions

·         Exam Simulation CD-ROM with 26 tests and over 3500 questions to allow creation of custom tests with more than 18 custom topics

·         400+ Flash Card Set

·         Three Audio CDs (Course, Terminology, and Processes) including MP3 CDs

·         Three Wall Poster/Placemats (11X17” Double Sided and Laminated)

·         Two Quick Reference Guides for Fourth Edition PMBOK® Guide

·         Calculator, pens and highlighters

Participant Responsibility:

·         Each learner is responsible to purchase their own copy of the Fourth Edition PMBOK® Guide –OR- they can download their own FREE copy once they become a member of PMI®.

·         We recommend you join PMI® and here is why:  We believe as a credentialed PMP® you have a responsibility to support and participate in professional project management organizations.  PMI® is the global professional organization supporting the project management discipline.  PMI® provides professional resources, a monthly PM Journal and support whenever needed.  As a member, you will receive discounts for certification exams and local PMI® chapter events.  Membership to PMI® is $129 + $35 Chapter dues annually.  We also strongly encourage you to join and support your local PMI® chapter.

Participant Commitment:

This course is only for those serious about passing the PMP® Certification Exam!  Participants must be earnest about:

·         Attending all 10 sessions;

·         Dedicating approximately 5-8 hours on average each week for outside study; and

·         We strongly recommend sitting for the PMP® Certification Exam within one month after completing the course.

Refund Policy:

Refunds are only given:

·         If the learner cancels at least one week (five business days) prior to the first class.

OR

·         If the learner wishes to drop-out of the course within 2-days after the first class. The learner must submit a “drop-out” request in writing to Journey Consulting.  Course materials including a processing fee will not be refunded.  The learner may keep the course materials.

OR

·         If Journey Consulting cancels class due to lack of enrollment.

Journey Consulting will issue refunds in the form of a check.  If the registration was paid for with a credit card, a refund can be made directly to that same credit card.


Course materials are only refundable if it was included in the course registration fee, that course is canceled, and the course materials have not been received.
