The 2009 -2010 Board are as follows:
President - Albert Gubiotti, PMP
Al Gubiotti has been president of PMI Rochester for the past two years and is currently running for an additional elected term. In his first year, he was appointed to the position to fill a vacancy and was elected in 2008 by the membership.
His background has been the design, implementation, management and support of manufacturing and health management systems at increasing levels of operational impact. He obtained his PMP in 2005 and is currently VP for Project Solvers of America (PSA). He was a Sr.Project Manager at Excellus and he received his MIS Manager at Valeo/ITT Corp. prior to beginning his work with PSA.
Al has over 30 years of successful track record of maximizing data collection and increasing management efficiency through state-of-the-art technical knowledge, business and manufacturing management, as well as health insurance business process.
He resides in Fairport, NY with his wife, Beverly. Al enjoys working with the members of PMI as well as golf and boating. Al looks forward to serving another term as president of PMI Rochester and assisting the Chapter reach its goals.
Executive VP - Andrew Battisti, PMP
Andrew is a self-motivated and highly-focused professional with 10 years of diverse project management experience. Andrew has solid expertise in full lifecycle development for small, medium and large-scale projects in both IT and direct marketing.
Andrew has served on the PMI Rochester Board for 3 years, beginning with the 2007-2008 chapter year as the VP of Communications. While VP of Communications, Andrew worked with the Chapter officers and website hosting companies to improve the quality and delivery of electronic notifications to Chapter members by 25% and to administer the Rochester chapter website and supervise the refit and transfer of the website content management to a new vendor.
At the request of Rochester Chapter President, Al Gubiotti, Andrew was asked to serve in the newly created position as VP of Governance for the Chapter for the 2008-2009 chapter year. From 2008 to the end of 2009, Andrew and the Governance team successfully updated the Chapter Bylaws and Charter and created the Chapter's first ever Business Plan.
In December of 2009, Andrew was appointed as the new Executive Vice-President of the Chapter. In his first project as Executive VP, Andrew will oversee the committee that is planning the 2010 PMI Region 4 Conference being hosted by PMI Rochester.
Andrew co-hosts the longest running soccer radio talk show in North America, Soccer is a Kick in the Grass, heard weekly on WYSL 1040 AM Radio and worldwide on the internet at www.soccerisakickinthegrass.com. Andrew has lived in the Rochester area his entire life and currently resides near Highland Park in Rochester with his wife, Cindy, and their 2 cats, Posh and Becks.

VP & Secretary - Maria Washington, MBA, PMP, CIA
Maria is a certified internal auditor with over 25 years of field work, planning, conducting and supervising financial, operational, and information systems audits to verify accuracy, completeness and authorization. Proven management expertise in security policy direction, project management and corporate risk assessment, Maria has performedand directed a wide variety of activities including an annual corporate risk assessment and special regulatory audits in her role as Audit Manager. Her responsibilities also included directing a staff of 21operation auditors, writing audit programs, creation of audit reports and presenting findings to senior management and the audit committee.
In addition to her audit and risk assessment background, Maria received her MBA from the William E. Simon School of Business, with a concentration in Health Care Management and Information Systems. Maria received her Project Management certification in 2007 with a focus on auditing the project management office and corporate project teams that were regarded by management as high risk. Maria has formal Six Sigma training including yellow belt certification.
Maria currently holds the VP of Membership office for 2007-2008 and is responsible for maintaining membership statistics, welcoming new members, and maintaining the chapter mailing lists. In 2009 –2010, Maria has been nominated as Rochester Chapter Secretary. Maria is actively involved in the Institute of Internal Auditors, serving on the board and the program committee.

VP of Finance - Joanne Greene-Blose, PMP, ACS
Joanne formed The Project Solvers of America Inc. (PSA) in 2004 after working for over 20 years in industry. Ms.Greene-Blose has a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in corporate finance. She attained her Project Manager Professional certification (PMP) in the year 2000 and received a Black Belt certification from the International Institute of Learning on MS Project 2003 Server. She is an acclaimed speaker and educator, where she specializes in team-building. She also serves as an Associate Consultant with Business Management Consultants, LLC, delivering project management training on a world-wide basis. As President of PSA Joanne brings a variety of project experience with applications ranging from databases, telephony, printer technology, and embedded systems. She is a strong believer in quality and has coached project managers to supplement their project processes with the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) in addition to their adherence to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Joanne is a board member of the Rochester Chapter of PMI, a member of ASTD, a member of several local Chambers of Commerce, a Toastmaster in two clubs (where she holds the Advanced Communicator-Silver designation ACS, and is President in one, Immediate Past President in the other).
In the area of finance, Joanne has been Treasurer of the Penfield Democratic Committee for several years and most recently Treasurer of PMI Rochester. Ms. Greene-Blose is also the Fund raising Chair for her daughters’ gymnastics program.

VP of Membership - Ray Anselmi, PMP
Mr. Anselmi led the project to incorporate the Rochester PMI Chapter in 2001 and was active in the recent revision of the Chapter Constitution and By-Laws. As a Certified Executive Project Manager with IBM Global Services, he is responsible for all aspects of project management for commercial and internal engagements.
Ray has served the Rochester Chapter in the past as Communications Officer for two terms, (2000-2002) and as Membership Officer for three terms 2004-2007. For the 2009 – 2010 year, he has been nominated for VP of Membership.
Ray has a B.A. degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, pursued an M.S. degree in Computer Systems Management at R.I.T., and is a PMI and IBM Certified Project Management Professional, with extensive professional and technical education.
